We were at WDW last week, arriving post Ivan and leaving early Saturday morning (4 a.m.) before Jeanne.
We were wondering how the Cast members were holding up with all of the hurricane mess. We expected to run into a few short tempers and stress-related problems.
I just want to give a big WELL DONE to the cast members. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, smiling and helpful. We only ran into one person who was a little short with us, the lady manning the guest services desk at Pop Century around 4 a.m. on Saturday - and considering the huricane bearing down on FL, that was understandable.
A special thanks to Catherine at the front desk at Pop Century, who gave us a wonderful room in the 50's section, by the lake (#3134). Nice and quiet, and we could sit on the bench by the lake and watch the EPCOT fireworks every night (at least the higher ones!).
All of the folks in Florida remain in our thoughts and prayers.
