A few months ago there was a long thread about the lack of bathroom cleanliness around property, and on this most recent trip it seems like Disney has gotten the message. Almost every time I’ve been in a bathroom in one of the parks over the past week there has been a custodial staff member either in there picking up directly after guests or entering the bathroom within sight of my leaving. Needless to say I haven’t seen a single bad bathroom this trip. The worst I saw was the bathroom to the right of SM in MK but even that wasn’t bad relative to some of the things I saw people describe in past threads. Kudos Disney! It’s nice to see a couple of my thousands of dollars are noticeably going towards cleaner facilities.
As a disclaimer I was one of those in the thread that had good things to say about most past visits as well, but even from that perspective I can still say it seemed like it was more of a janitorial priority this trip.
Now let’s hope this continues and wasn’t done as a knee jerk short term solution to the problem!
