This is another reason for using known, reputable vendors. On Thursday, I will be shooting photos of the Sprint Cup Trophy and Kyle Busch's show car in Victory Lane with our season ticket holders at the Chicagoland Speedway. I decided to finally pull the trigger on the Sigma 30. I had borrowed one previously, but I wanted my own. It arrived today and I immediately put it on my camera and instantly noticed a focusing issue. It was back-focusing by about 7 inches. Since I no longer have access to the borrowed lens, I panicked and called B & H customer service. They are overnight shipping (on their dime) another lens and paying to ship the bad lens back. They temporarily charge my credit card and then when the other lens is received back my account will be reimbursed. This was all accomplished in a matter of minutes. No arguing, no problems. They made a panicky situation much better. I really appreciate the professionalism of an organization such as B & H!
PS I almost forgot, in the middle of my conversation with the rep we became disconnected (my fault) and he called me right back! This level of service is hard to beat.
