We just returned from WDW!

First time ever experienced problems with a rental car. But they were there for me! :thumbsup2

Within three hours of calling in the problem, had a brand new vehicle and were off and running again!

Ok, so it seemed like a long time but considering how busy they were, they did a great job!

And I also know that I don't like SATURNS!

We had a Vue. It was okay to rent, but I would never buy one. Whoever thought of that layout - it took us 5 minutes (in a downpour) to figure out how to turn the windshield wipers on a high setting, and for 5 days we had trouble getting the windows open (the controls are on the center console). The seats are very short, and the back window doesn't come up without lifting the whole hatch. We rent cars/SUVs all the time and I have never had such a hard time getting used to a rental.

BINGO! That's what it was!

The Alternator was gone! Would not start! Dead as a door nail!

Guess what they replaced it with! Another VUE! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

When we went to AK, when I tried to get out without hitting the car next to me, the steering column jammed! Luckily there was a guy in Security that had enough strength and a cast to push the brake pedal hard and far enough to unlock it and put it into Neutral to unjam it!

As for the wipers, I had my passenger control it! I could not figure it out!

And having the window controls on the console? What's up with that!

I hope that I can get a better vehicle for October!

Hmm..thats unfortunate, weve always had the Equniox, which has some of those strange "quirks" but has always been good for what we were doing. Lately ive spoted a ton of Kia Sorrento's on the midsize aisle. Yet to drive one, but Hertz often has these in stock....
