I just read the other post and the article about the announcement of DVC at KT at the CR! It's very exciting for all of you who had hoped and wished for this so congrats to all of you! A monorail DVC resort is such a great idea, I'm surprised it took this long for it to come about.
I am also wondering how much the points will go for and how much higher a night they will be. But, we are also among the very few that would use KTV, please don't flame me......it's JMHO. Our children are in college, so until we have grandkiddies, I don't think we'd consider using more points per night for a monorail resort (maybe not even then). Contemporary is our least favorite resort on site - and MK is the park we visit least.....I know we are in the minority, but again, we are without small children. We have done MK on the extended night hours, but only once. And we have done the Keys to the Kingdom Tour (which was awesome for this Disney maniac). We will visit MK again, it's just never really on the top of our list. I guess I'm just saying that while KT will be hugely popular and desirable, we aren't of those who will fall into the group - leaving more points for those of you who are!
