KTTW Card

Is this something you carry in your pocket or is it on a lanyard or something around your neck? What about the card for my 5 yr old? Do I have to carry it everywhere I go?

It is the same size as a credit card, put anywhere you want. Pocket, laynard, etc. You have to have the KTTW for your child when disembarking the ship and boarding the ship at all ports. Otherwise your child does not have to always carry the card while on board.

I just took a pic of a KTTW card with my trusty digital camera.... It is the size and thickness of a credit card. They are just like the hotel room cards for WDW. My kids have lost a few onboard over the years, let's see....in the hot tub, the bottom of the pool, the arcade, etc. At least they had the sense to tell me so we could go to Guest Services and get a new one. I would suggest parents hang on to the cards for the little ones...they really do not need them at all onboard, only to get on and off the ship as the other poster said.

Actually....they use the same blanks that WDW uses because they have the WDW logo on top...I never noticed that before. They should have the DCL Logo on them!!!

We are on a land/sea pkg. starting at the Beach Club.

Will the KTTW card open both our hotel and stateroom doors?
I understand it can be tied to a credit card for charging.

What about our park hopper admissions- are they given as a different card/ticket or is it also this card?

Just a note: We did the land/sea last June with the land portion first. Because we knew we would not be charging anything during this time on the card, we opted at the hotel to have charging taken off the card. We already had travelers checks for all of our spending money. Also, we were worried that if they got lost in the parks, that someone might try to use them before we noticed. Well, when we got to the ship and realized that the card is used for all on board purchases we knew we had made a mistake. However, it was no big deal. They reissued us cards (the old ones said-no charging). It only took a few minutes at guest services right when we boarded. the cast member at POR did not mention this to us. I just thought that it would apply to the hotel.
