KSC Tour

I am planning on taking the KSC tour next week while I am at WDW.What items cannot be taken on the tour?I am assuming that camcorders and cameras are not allowed.Thanks.

Camera's ARE allowed. That policy ended with the cold war I think.

Only things not allowed is any type of weapons/explosives etc..

If you are talking about the Kennedy Space Center Tour {I am not sure if that is what you are asking about}?

I think we have done every tour KSC has. We take camera's and video camera's with no problem. They do however do a "search" of your bags as you enter the complex. They make sure your cell phone is a cell phone and your camera's are cameras. I am not sure exactly how they can tell but they do that. They have a bit more security to go through than Disney but it really isn't a problem. And that is before you even go on any tours.

We alway take a trip out there every trip to Disney.

About the only thing you can't film is the IMAX presentation for obvious copyright reasons. Camcorders and cameras are definitely allowed on the tour. If they don't want you to see it, it won't be out and on display. Go and film to your hearts content.

Thanks for the information.There is a Delta 4 Rocket launch scheduled for the day I am going,so I am so glad that video taping is allowed.

just be aware that that launch will likely take place from CCAFS...and NOT KSC.
