Kroger Gift Cards/Gas Promotion

For those of us who buy lots of gift cards for the holidays, Kroger is offering 40 cents off a gallon of gas for every $100 you spend at Kroger gas or Shell stations. That's 40 cents off per gallon during an up to 35 gallonr fill up. Kroger gift cards are excluded.

Interesting deal. I will have to look and see if my Kroger is doing this and what cards it is good for. Also it is for up to 35 gallons not $35. Just because that would only get me half a tank and not be worth the trouble!

Our nearest Kroger doesn't have a fuel center, but we may be able to save some $$ on our fuel costs for our drive down to WDW tomorrow. I also checked and there are Krogers all the way down I-75, so we can purchase some GCs based on where we like to stop and eat and use the fuel points all along the way. The offer does say the 4 X promo may vary according to region, so it might be worthwhile to call ahead to some of the stores and see if they are running the same promo.

The Kroger fuel discount is also good at Shell in my part of the world, so I go into Kroger and buy $50 Shell cards, then use the Kroger fuel discount at Shell to fillup.

Driving from Michigan-there are Kroger gas stations directly off or within 1 mile of the interstate at exit 171 (Walton) and exit 38 (London) in KY, but Shells are located pretty much at every exit.
