Kroger Gift Cards 4x Fuel Points

I bought $250 worth of GC and filled up yesterday. I was surprised to see it asked if I wanted to use $1.10 fuel rewards because I thought that the max was $1.00.

I just found this on the Kroger site:

The fuel program now allows you to Save Up to $2 off per gallon when redeeming at Kroger fuel centers, now through September 30th, 2012.

Next month I am going to take advantage of the full $2.00 off per gallon!

Our van is a 28+ gallon tank. We get the fuel points but only drive to the Kroger station that is about 10 miles away if we are on that side of town. $2 off plus 4 x fuel points and the 5% bonus on groceries for upgrading our Disney Visa to Premier we have right now, this makes the drive worth it. We'll be stocking up on some gift cards for future use.

I would love to take advantage of this, but every time I have looked they are sold out of the Disney cards where you can determine the amount! Here's hoping they get more in stock before our trip.

Thanks for posting about 4x points. I have been saving my points for our long drive down in June. I would love to buy Disney gift cards for things we will buy anyway.

Are there rules about what you can/can not use a gift card for? We are staying off site and would probably need $$ for the following:
TS and CS meals
snacks (like Dole Whips)
parking
souvenirs
tickets (we have these already but those we are meeting do not and may like to do this)

nothing Hotel related since off-site

I'd like to figure up and approximate amount we will spend and get some gift cards while they are 4x points!

I think I remember seeing $50 cards at my local Kroger. Has anyone seen other denominations?

It's funny because some krogers in my area have them, and there are others that do not. At the Kroger in my neighborhood you can add the denomination you want, which I'd great.


You can use the cards all over the parks. What I do is pay my room charges with them. It prevents me from carrying them around and losing them.
See you are staying off site. OK yes you can use them for the restaurants as well. I am not sure about parking, however. Someone else may be able to chime in on that
Others have posted getting the 3 $15 packet of gift cards and giving them to their children to use for souvenirs etc.

This is awesome! I was thinking that it was going to cost me around $150 to drive down each way. It would be nice to have a full up for $1.50 a gallon. Since the price of oil is dropping maybe gas will be cheaper this summer.
