Kroger Gift Card 4X Fuel Rewards start today

Super excited about this! I need to buy $900 in Gift Cards before our trip next week. This couldn't have been better timing!!!

Can you explain this further? I sometimes get specialized coupons in the mail from Kroger, but I don't know what kind of rewards check you're talking about. Also, which rewards did it say were going to end?

We have a Kroger 1-2-3 Rewards Visa card, which allow us to earn rewards points in addition to the fuel points. Throughout the year, they convert the earned points into a reward certificate that we can redeem at the register. (1,000 points = $5 certificate) Kroger mails a packet of rewards coupons with the certificate(s) in addition to the usual coupons that come by mail in a packet or inside the promo booklets.

That money-back benefit is being discontinued.

The Kroger in Arizona (Fry's) is offering the 4X fuel points.

Went to my Kroger today and no 4x fuel points right now. The sign on the display did say "display until November 18" so maybe after that here in Central VA.

kroger is a grocery chain in some states. THey also own freds and a few other chains.

"Freds" = Fred Meyer - a chain of superstores in the Pacifc Northwest (not to be confused with "Fred's", a small regional discounter operating in the Southeast).

Good to know! I will definitely be buying some gift cards. We are driving to WDW next month and it will be great to save some $ on gas.

When we drove down to TX this summer I use my fuel points in OH and save $1.00/gallon :cool1:

Hi there, can anyone answer these questions?:

1. Does anyone know if it's being offered in Nashville yet?
2. Are the Disney gift cards the predetermined amount (e.g., $25 or $50) or the kind you can put a few hundred dollars on?
3. How often does Kroger run the 4X fuel rewards on gift cards? I would like to buy some now, but also take advantage closer to our trip in June so I can save on gas when we really need it (we're driving). Don't the fuel rewards expire within 2 months?

Thanks!

I'm not sure. I'm in the Cincinnati area. Probably soon. :)

Probably depends on your specific Kroger, but yesterday, at my Krogers, I found the kind you can put a few hundred on. That helped big time. Normally, I get the $50 cards.

In 2013, they ran them for graduations/Father's Day (late May, into June..) back to school (August) and Christmas (November into December). If the same pattern runs (and I see no reason why it shouldn't), you should be fine.

The fuel rewards, I think, expire the calendar month after you acquire them. So if you acquire them on November 1st, they expire on December 31st. Similarly, if you acquire them on November 30th, they also expire on December 31st.

The fuel points expire the next month (dec.31 if bought now). They had an offer in Aug/Sept of this year so I was surprised to see one so soon. The cards do have pre-set amounts, but lots of different choices.

The gift cards vary by location. Sometimes there are just the $25 cards. Sometimes there are 3packs of $15 each ($45 total), and sometimes they have the ones that can hold up to $500. This summer I snagged 2 different holiday designs at a Kroger I don't usually go to. When I went this week there was the standard $25 Mickey one and a loadable Christmas design.

Like the other poster said, they do this several times per year, so you should be fine to wait and get them closer to your trip.

Thanks so much for the information!

I live in the Metro Detroit area and I noticed this week's Kroger sales paper is advertising the 4X Fuel Rewards Points promotion.

Ends December 9th
