Kroger - Disney Gift Cards Save $5

I'll be checking my Kroger tonight, thanks! The only thing is I would only be using them on the Dining Plan (since when you pay DVC members for renting their points they don't accept gift cards ) and I don't know how the CM would feel when I get there to pay for it and hand him/her a stack of 28 cards . I'll probably just get a few. Do you know if you can combine coupons or can you only use one per order? It doesn't really matter as I primarily shop at Kroger it just would be less to keep up with if I could use them all at once.

I'm a DVC member and I guess the CM's better get ready! We are staying for 15 nights (2 seperate resorts) doing the dining plan and I am going to purchase enough cards to cover the cost. Hey $5 is $5

Also, I'm using my Chase Freedom card so, I earn cashback that I can cash out before we go! How cool is that?!? I'm already up to a $200 check...I wish they still did $200 for a $250 check but, hey anything is gravy!

I'm going back this afternoon and see if you can use the coupon on additional cards....will let you know! That would be awesome if you can...wish me luck!

2 cards, 28 cards, it's all spendable money (so I doubt the CM would care, either way)...

...Kroger operates about a dozen other grocery chains around the nation (such as Ralph's, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, and Dillon's).

Best I recall, Kroger does not operate a single store in the Northeast or Florida -- so, the majority of this board may miss-out on this one.

Kroger this week is advertising Disney Gift Card multi-packs (3-$15) and get $5 coupon off your next order of $5 or more. I purchased 4 packs ($180) and got $20 worth of coupons. Also, you get double fuel reward points so, I earned enough for $.20 off per gallon on 4 fill-ups. Just thought I would pass this along...hope it helps someone else!

Did you do 4 seperate purchases or just 1 big purchase?

I have done this promotion for the past several years at Christmas and as a heads up make sure to read the fine print at the store. I bought two packs of ITunes and only got the 5.00 once because it was a limit of one package of gift cards per purchase and only two per Kroger card. And once you buy gift cards you can't take them back so there was no way the service desk could even help me out after the fact. I literally bought them, got the 5, thought I should have gotten the 10 and went to the service desk and in the fine print (it was on the big poster but fine and at the bottom) were those terms.

Just remember, if you got the Disney Visa bonus, wait until April 1st so you can get the 3x bonus. I heard if you buy gift cards at a grocery store, it shows up at a grocery purchase and they have no way of knowing it was on gift cards!

can you tell me more about the bonus? we've only had our card for a few months, so I'm not sure what this is. thanks!!

Did you do 4 seperate purchases or just 1 big purchase?

I went thru a self service lane and did 4 seperate transaction. It was painless....

I didn't think about grabbing the coupon and try using it on the next transaction.

Wow, waiting until tomorrow as I have the Disney Chase offer for grocery stores. I wonder how long it will take to get a ton of gift cards. Going to DL in two weeks and DW in 6 weeks. Do the $5 coupons print at the self service register?

If you can only use one $5 off coupon per order and you're getting a bunch of them that's a lot of trips to Kroger before 4/17! (we don't have self service kiosk's here which would be so nice 'cause then you could separate your own orders)

My grocery store doesn't let you use credit cards to buy gift cards. I asked why & they told me that stolen credit cards are often used to buy gift cards. (I guess the bad guys figure they can do that quickly before you report the cards missing)

Thank you OP for posting the website....I just got back from my King Soopers and got my pack of Disney cards. It printed out the $5 and I used it for the rest of my groceries. My ad said Itunes only so I never would have known-going back tomorrow too.

Good news....I just returned from Kroger and you can use the $5 off on the gift cards. I asked if I could use all in one transaction and she said she doesn't see why not. Unfortunately, the register would only take one per transaction. So, I had too ring each one up seperately. There was no problem doing it that way. So, I ended up getting 8 more cards at $40 each plus I still had 4 coupons left so, I went back in the store and bought a few other things and did another 4 transaction and end up paying a total of $1.16 for the following:

1 can chef boyrdee ravioli (spelling ?)
1 lg box of minute rice
5 dozen eggs
2 prego pasta sauce
1 box spaghetti
1 box 100 calorie hostess cakes
4 bags of shredded cheese
3 packs skittles (easter basket)
3 packs starburst (easter basket)
3 bags of lays potato chips
2 bottles red hot sauce

Also, it put me over the threshold for $.30 off per gallon....

Now, I've got a total of $540 in gift cards and I am all set for our trip
