Kroger 4x fuel points 8/12 - 9/8

Kroger has 4x fuel points starting tomorrow. I only looked at the add for my area(atlanta) but it is usually the same for all areas.

They also have the $2 per fillup up to 35 gallons until the end of Sept. Love, Love, Love fuel points!

I bought a Shell gas card yesterday in KY and only got the usual 2x points. Our ad also does not show the 4x promotion starting tomorrow, so maybe it will be unadvertised here.

Surprised it's not in Georgetown yet. We've had the 4x promotion in the Cincinnati/Northern KY area for the past couple of weeks.

I only wish my gas tank was larger (12 gallon tank). As it stands right now, a $100 gift card at 4X would only save me about $4.50 (assuming I let my gas tank go down to nearly zero...dangerous, because the closest Kroger gas station is about 5 miles away). While $100 gift card at Target, using the red card, saves me $5.

And it's impossible to coordinate the two cars in our household so we both have our gas tanks filled at the same time.

That said, I bought a $200 Disney gift card and a $25 pizza gift card on Friday. I immediately filled up my gas tank, then had pizza for supper.

My Kroger in IL does not have the 4X fuel rewards right now. Hopefully it is coming soon.

My local Vons (Southern California) had that deal too, but max reward is $1 in fuel rewards with a 25 gallon max.

At least I was able to buy Disney gift cards and get the points!

Thanks for the heads up! I was just getting ready to purchase a gift card for the teacher at school! 4x makes me happy! I use my disney visa too so it makes it close enough to 5% by the time I am done as our gas tank is also small.

Does anyone know if I can use a credit card to buy the gift cards? Will Kroger allow that? I'm heading there to do my grocery shopping tomorrow and thought I'd pick some up and use my Disney Visa to get some rewards.

Yes! I used my SW Visa to buy $150 in Amazon gift cards tonight. (Dh found struts for my car cheapest on Amazon! ) So, when both cars get empty at the same time, we'll take them and get $.60/gallon off just from that. With gas at $4/gallon and me driving 120 miles a day to/from work, we need all the discounts we can get!
