DAY ONE:
The day started off good with our flight leaving early and arriving earlier than planned, we had a good flight despite the fact that I only slept about 3 hours total. Our flight landed and it was raining which is not a big deal seeing as I live in Oregon. Harold's Limo picked us up on time and we had a wonderful ride to the Park Vue Inn where we were supposed to be staying for the entire trip.
I get to the check in desk, pull out my card and my ID and everything is going fine. I had already paid for the entire stay (almost $1000) months and months ago (I think back in February or March). In between that time I had lost my card and was issued a new one, the cards had different numbers on them because it's a Debit/Prepay type of card. Well...They could not confirm my stay on a canceled card even though it was already paid for so they would need to refund the money then recharge me again...So pretty much costing me another $1000 and then it taking about 5 business days to refund the other $1000, which would leave me with not much money for my trip. #1 I was NOT told when I paid for my hotel that they didn't accept Prepaid cards, and since they took the money from me just fine I didn't see the issue. #2 I had already paid for the room so what's the big deal?? It's already paid for, if you want to hold a damage fund then hold a damage fund; but now they were telling me there was nothing they could do and I was pretty much out of luck with NO where to stay

I was in tears and had my mom call HoJo down the street where I ended up having to pay another $800 for this hotel. I was so frustrated and upset by the end of this that I only rode 6 rides today

I am hoping this is all over now and now I can relax and enjoy my vacation. Park Vue Inn gets a negative 20 stars from me, I am so angry at them for not telling me when I had paid that they couldn't accept a prepaid card. Then on top of that!! They're still charging me for one nights room because I didn't cancel before the 48 hour cancellation time. Is that even right?? Since I had no idea I wasn't going to be allowed to stay!? I wasn't canceling...they canceled on me. I plan on contacting the company and making sure I fight this...I want every dime back!!
So Day one isn't good

And I didn't take pictures either. I just wanted to go home and not be on vacation anymore because of this horrible experience.
At the end of the night as I was leaving the park, and buying a light up Mickey balloon

I overheard a little girl asking her daddy for one but he said she only had $2 left, so after buying my balloon I gave the little girl the rest of the money to buy her balloon

Every little girl deserves a
Disneyland balloon.
