Never heard of her until last night when we watched Evening at Pops. Wow, what a voice! She was the guest star and I was on the computer when I heard the most amazing music coming from the front room.

I looked her up on the IMDB and it says she's going to play the part of Dusty Springfield in an upcoming movie. After what I heard last night, she should be fabulous.

I agree with you! We were lucky enough to see her with the original cast of Wicked. She was amazing, very beautiful operatic voice, and she was hysterical when she sang "Popular". Took my daughter as it was her birthday and Kristen was kind enough to stop and talk to us and pose for a picture with my daughter after the show.

I have to ask this. How tall is she? My goodness, all that music coming out of this teeny, tiny person. :teeth:

She's a phenonomenal actress and singer. In addition to Wicked, she also did the TV version of the Music Man w/ Matthew Brodrick that came out a few years ago. She also did a 1/2 season of episodes of the West Wing, and was great.

As mentioned above, she was completely amazing as Glinda in Wicked. Check out the soundtrack if you get the chance!

I also really like her voice. In addition to the credits listed above, she played Lilly St. Regis ('the dumb hotel') in the '99 TV version of Annie (the one with Victor Garber, Alan Cumming and Kathy Bates.) I also saw her on Broadway as Sally in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" and she was really funny. So, in addition to a great voice, she's got great comedic timing. She also has a CD out that's very good. I know all this because my DD, who's a theater fanatic, absolutely adores her. ;)
