kristens wicked mud cake

i got this at a friends tea shower

1 cup of hot water
250 grams of butter
200 grams of chopped dark chocolate
2 lightly beaten eggs
1/4 cup of coca
1/4 cup of milk
1/4cup of sugar
2 table spoons of whiskey
1and 1/3 cups of plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bi carb soda

now for the sauce
100 grams marshmellows and 125 grams of dark chocolate ands 1/4 cup of milk

method
grease and line a 23 cm cake tin
combine water milk and butter and sugar and stir over medium heat untill choc and butter have melted
remove from heat and stir in whisky
allow to to cool
stir the eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence into chocolate then addthe sifted flour and coca and bicarb soda pour mixture into oven and bake in a slow oven for 1hour and a half or untill cake tester comes out clean

now for the sauce
combine marshmellows and chocolate in a small pan
over heat and stir untill melted
cool to warm heat
then pour over cake and serve with ice cream or cream
