I had similar thoughts until I made my first visit...

• The competition's are made elsewhere reheated in a store microwave. http://www.canada.com/story.html?id=5292f806-bb77-4ca5-8e0c-2a24ee1cdc61 . I still can't believe Alaska serves your frozen crab while Vancouver's is live.

I'm not sure they can do that year-round, considering the crabbing season is so very short. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaskan_king_crab_fishing

Does anyone in Vancouver know for sure?

Perhaps not year round, but you can point to your crab and pose pictures with your meal before it's served.... I've seen them in premium Chinese restaurants all winter and I had my meal last August.

We're doing the Vancouver to San Diego in September, does anyone know if they serve KK's on the Wonder when she's on the west coast? TIA

We are on the Vancouver - San Diego trip too on Sept. 27. Are you or do you know of a fish extender group?

They had them in May on the Wonder, only a few basic types, and they do not taste anything like the ones you get in the KK shop. They also had the soft pretzels, available at the pizzeria. They were so good!
