I know it is so difficult to celebrate something when your heart is broken. I know that the death of your father has left you bereft and devasted, my friend. You are still grieving.

I just wanted to make sure that you know that we are all thinking about you today. It's still your birthday. I hope you can enjoy the day and find some smiles. You are so fortunate to have had a father who you love and respect so much. I hope you can use the wonderful memories of your life with him to make you smile, just a little bit.

Remember, that we are all here waiting. When you feel like you are ready to post again, we'll be so happy to see you. I hope that day comes soon. You just take your time, though, and work your way through the sadness. We'll be here when you are ready, we're saving your place.

I sincerely hope that even during this birthday...one which has followed such an aweful event....that you have had a little light heartedness.

You know there is soooo much in life that we don't understand. Perhaps, we were not meant to.

But....there are a few things we do understand.

Your Dad and Mom gave you their greatest of all possible gifts....their eternal love....you in turn gave them their greatest of eternal gifts...youself.

Dispite all.....on your birthday and on everyday of your life....I hope and pray that your heart will feel the joy of the wonderous love you shared.....while people may leave us.....their love is not diminshed.....Your Dad's unconditional love for you....will live within you forever.
