Has anyone been to Kouzzina on the Boardwalk? Would appreciate any info you could share.

Thanks.

We went to Kouzzina for dinner during our October trip and enjoyed it very much. DBF had the whole fish (I think it was snapper) which was delicious and well presented. I had the lamb shank and also enjoyed my entree. We had some Greek appetizers, but I don't remember exactly what. the Greek salad looked very good but we didn't order it becasue we had a Greek Salad earlier in the day at the Epcot food and Wine Festival. We will certainly go bak to Kouzzina.

We were there shortly after it opened in the fall--6 adults and 5 children. We all really enjoyed it. I think we all had the flank steak and liked it very much! I would say give it a try! :thumbsup2

We ate there about a week after it had its soft opening (first week of September) and it was one of our best meals. I had the fisherman's stew and galaktoboureko, DH had the lamb shank and baklava, and we shared saganaki and had a glass each of one of the Coranation wines (Cat Cora's winery). For your non-alcoholic drink, try the pomegranate lemonade.

People have had issues with service there, but our server (Sandy) was excellent. I think she must have been a real longtime employee, when I saw pics of the official opening she was right up there with Cat Cora and Mickey.

We went there in January and really enjoyed it. The sangria was very good as was the food. A couple of the things were a little spicy to my taste (the skewers on the Kouzzina sampler appetizer) but that came with a nice yogurt sauce, which helped calm down the spice. I'd definitely go back. I like the atmosphere in there -- fun and upbeat.

We really enjoyed Kouzzina last sept. during free dining. We had great food and excellent service. The Fisherman stew was delicious, steak and whole fish were also very good. The desserts were so yummy, we had the baklava, loukamades, and greek cookies. It is now on our must do list for this sept.

Glad to hear you all liked the flank steak. I think I'll be ordering that when we go in June!

Though I have heard numerous great reviews, my response would have to be "been there, done that, and not intending to return". The meal was so-so, the desserts lacking and they did not deal well with food allergies.

Explanation: Generally like Greek Food, had dinner there and it was literally just so-so (not bad, but far from the best I've ever had).

Ordered the cookies and the doughnuts for dessert. My daughter who loves doughnuts hated them (said they tasted more like the batter used in cheap Chinese take out for sweet and sour than they did doughnuts). I personally didn't try them for allergy reasons. The cookies were of the quality that would generally come from a package of assorted cookies and neither the waitstaff nor the chef could tell me what the red substance was in the center of one of them. As I have allergies, this was not a good thing. (They took that particular cookie back and returned the others resulting in my not eating any of them and my daughter getting to sample yet another dessert that she did not particularly care for, though she did enjoy the iced coffee that accompanied them.)

Thanks everyone for your replies. We went ahead and booked dinner here for one of our nights in July. Looking forward to trying it!
