We have an ADR for 1900 PF (dinner) during our trip and I want to cancel it. I've done this dinner before and we already have quite a few character meals so I'd like to try something new.

The menu at Kouzzina REALLY appeals to me although I'm not sure that it does to Hubby. The menu at Yak & Yeti appeals to the hubby more than it does to me, lol.

Can you share your preference or review if you have been to Kouzzina and/or Yak & Yeti?

There are our other ADR's (I kind of feel like 'Ohana's dinner will be similiar type food to Yak & Yeti):

Breakfast:
Cape May Buffet

Lunches and Dinners:
Chef Mickey's (D) arrival night
Whispering Canyon (D) new to us
1900 PF (D) - will cancel
Akershus (D) - one of my favorite dinners on property
'Ohana (D) new to us
50's PTC (L)
Boma (D) new to us
LeCellier (L)

Thanks!

Yak and Yeti is extremely delicious. You can order American food (burgers, ribs, etc) there. My dad ordered ribs- they fell right off the bone! But, their Asian cuisine is absolutely delicious. Better than P.F. Changs. I am actually trying Ohana and Kouzzina for the first time next month. My best friend and I are going to Kouzzina for his birthday. It's a surprise! He loves Greek food. Ohana seems to be a favorite among many.. and I want to try a Lapu Lapu :goodvibes

Thank you! I don't eat ribs and am not a burger fan but I have looked at the menu for Yak & Yeti and the duck dish actually sounds good. I will say the fried wonton dessert sounds amazing too so if that's where we wind up going I wouldn't be too disappointed. I'm hoping to hear from more people about their experiences too.

There is no comparison between 'Ohana and Yak and Yeti.

Kouzzina has nice food but terrible front of the house. When you get there, do NOT leave the front podium until you are seated.

Kouzzina is one of my favorite non-signature restaurants at Disney World. Dinner is excellent and breakfast is even better. Reports here have led me to believe that either I'm terribly un-picky or the kitchen and staff are wildly inconsistent, however.

We like Yak & Yeti for lunch, but we generally stick to the appetizer and drinks menus (this would actually be my suggestion to you if the entrée menu doesn't interest you much).

Yak & Yeti is fabulous! Orange chicken, fried green beans and cream cheese fried wontons for dessert! Not only is the food yummy but we love to look at all the decor too. We love O'Hana too, but Yak & Yeti is a completely different experience. I didn't think I would like Yak & Yeti but I was surprised. My whole family thinks it's one of the best meals we've had at Disney. All four of us can find things we like on the menu. We even ate there twice last visit and it will be our first stop on our next trip.

Hubby and I loved Yak & Yeti, one of our favorite meals during our trip! We got the Shaoxing Steak & Shrimp and the fried wonton dessert really is amazing and different. Portion sizes are huge and service is excellent. I loved the cherry limeade there, too, because it has a lot more lime in it than other cherry limeades I've had. We ate there twice in one week because we loved it so much! If I went back I would want to try the duck or the ribs even though the shaoxing steak was soooo yummy!

Ok, I was very certain I wanted to eat at Kouzzina but I'm going to book Yak & Yeti. I've been looking at the menu more and there are quite a few dishes that do appeal to me and only one (the steak) that DH would eat at Kouzzina. Maybe I can nab a solo meal at Kouzzina during our trip, lol.

Thanks everyone for their recommendations!

You could always try Kouzzina for breakfast.

I'm not a big breakfast eater and the dinner menu REALLY appeals to me. Dh would love some one on one time with our daughter so I am really thinking about going solo one night for dinner.

We love Yak & Yeti! It is one of our fav's. The food is delicious. We went last year for lunch, the egg rolls and pot stickers appetizers were awesome. The lo mein is the best I've ever had, and the sorbet trio is to die for! We are going again this September. I would definitly choose Yak & Yeti:)

THE WONTONS ARE SO DELICIOUS. I should have left more room in my tummy to finish them. We are headed there for lunch on our first day! Liz vs Wontons: Round 2 :rotfl2:

Not to keep piling on, but another vote for Y&Y. If you do a separate solo meal, make sure to make the ADRs in two different names so that "they" don't see you as double-booked and cancel one.

Great to know. I've seen a picture in a dining review and they looked heavenly. I do look forward to trying them :goodvibes.

Thanks- I plan on doing my solo meal (if I go through with it) on a separate day.

Apparently Yak & Yeti is the clear winner. Lol.

We haven't eaten at Kouzzina, but we LOVED Yak & Yeti! We had ADR's for about 8PM, but were getting really tired & hot so we went 4 hours early . . . got seated immediately. It was during the parade, and they sat us up on the 2nd floor, window side so we could watch it from up high - AWESOME!!!

PS . . . tell DH "Thanks" from us! ;)

Thank you! I will do when I talk to him again. Thanks for the review of Yak & Yeti too. When I was on facebook chat with DH the other day and told him about Yak & Yeti he asked if they serve Yak...... Lol.

Wow, I guess I'm in the minority, we did NOT like Yak & Yeti. The food was just OK. The menu appealed to both of us from the beginning. But after eating there, we will choose someplace else next time.

The window seats upstairs are fantastic. It is a quiet and you can do a decent amount of people watching. I would get there early enough before your ADR to request a table there.

We were at Yak & Yeti 2 times. The first time we loved it. The second time it was o.k.

We were at Kouzzina 2 times. Both times I thought that is was above average but not great. I like the location and the atmosphere at this restaurant so I'd probably go back in the future.

We only ate counter service at Yak & Yeti so I won't comment on it other than to say that I have heard the sit down is better and it had better be.

However, we had dinner at Kouzzina and it was easily the best meal of our trip. The avelegomo (chicken lemon) soup that my daughter ordered was the best version I have ever tried of it - very creamy and delicate. My husband had the strip steak which was delicious. I had the fisherman's stew. I have actually avoided ordering bouillabaisse for years after eating too many bland, watery concoctions. This one sounded intriguing and it was definitely spot on. Not tomato based. More of a fennel taste and deliciousness.

I would not hesitate to recommend Kouzzina even to someone who is not adventurous. Greek food is not like mexican (really spicy or something that is that unusual) and this greek food was handled with a finesse that is unusual.
