We are staying at Boardwalk Villas this Summer and was trying to decide between these two restaurants. Also, has anyone been to the Brewery to eat there before? As you can see we haven't stayed there before so trying to get a feel for it and make some ADR's Thanks!

Flying Fish for sure. I have only eaten at Kouzinna one time and the food was just very bland nothing special at all. However that was several years ago and I think there have been many favorable reviews recently.

We always make a point to eat at FF if we are staying in the Boardwalk area. DH and I ate at the Chefs table ( at least I think that is what is called, we sat at the bar facing the open kitchen and had a special menu with wine pairings) it was so delicious. The chilled lobster salad is one of the best things I have ever eaten:)

If you are on the dining plan, FF is 2 TS credits and Kouzzina is 1.

Flying Fish hands down. It is now a tradition for us to eat there every single trip.

The mozzarella salad is unbelievable. I know, how can that be you might ask. Trust me. Order it.

And if the grape martini is not on the menu, have the bar make it for you anyway. De-lish. Tastes like grape bubblegum (can you tell I'm not hard core?). :)

I love everything about Flying Fish. :thumbsup2

Ate at Kouzzina's and it was, eh, okay. Not bad, but okay. Of course, in Cat Cora's defense, I ate breakfast, and I didn't have anything out of the ordinary. My sister, did, however...she had scrambled eggs with feta, etc., and said it was perfectly divine. :)

Thanks for the info. I will go for FF then. Sounds like it will be great. I have always wanted to dine at one of the Chef's tables and would like to do that at some time also.

I've eaten at both and had great food at both. Loved Kouzzina's Fisherman's Stew and Short Ribs. Loved Flying Fish's Scallops and, of course, the Potato-Wrapped Snapper.

Different styles, if you are more seafoodie, I'd go with FF. If you like a bit of Mediterranean, I'd go with Kouzzina. They're both fantastic.

My edge is Flying Fish, it's a Signature restaurant and everything, EVERYthing, I've eaten there has been stellar.

Happy eating! :)

We tried Kouzzina last year and we loved it. We are from the New Orleans area and I did not find the food bland. I have not eaten at Flying Fish so I can't compare the two. We will be back there in a little over a month and are eating at Kouzzina again.

They are two totally different dining experiences. Kouzzina is much more casual and accomodating of big noisy families. Flying Fish is a much more "adult" dining experience.

Personally, we rarely do Flying Fish. I'm personally not a big seafood eater, and we usually load up a trip with plenty of other "adult" dining nights (Jiko, Il Mulino, California Grill). Kouzzina is always a terrific time, with some excellent food (the Pork Loin and Cinnamon Chicken Stew are two of my favorite dishes anywhere in the park). The service can be spotty, but is always pleasant, and comparatively speaking, it's a "bargain" for the amount and quality of the meal you'll get.

We tried all three. Kouzzina has a really good breakfast menu and the kitchen staff is very entertaining. Geared more toward family dining. Flying Fish for dinner. Outstanding service and don't pass up on the scallops. We only had appetizers and drinks at the brewery. It seems a bit noisy inside so we prefer to grab a table out on the patio and relax sampling some of their specialty beers.

We stay at BWV every year and sometimes bring the whole family..12 or so...we all love Kozzunia's Fisherman's Stew...4/5 of these people are teens..it is a Greek Restaurant.

DH and I almost always have a steak at FlyingFish...great service at both places..

Love Love Love! FF It's a must do for us each trip. The scallops and the potato wrapped snapper are delish :)

Now BRG (brewery) is your basic pub food, descent apps, burgers, pasta. The tables inside are very close together, and you do feel very cramped. We usually ask to sit outside, and enjoy adult beverages, and apps.
