Hello!
We made our 9th visit to WDW last month (June 2013) and I am slowly working my way through our dining reviews! I am doing each review as a separate thread to make it easier for people who are looking for a review of a particular place, and including links from the same trip (above).
We were on DDxDP this trip, which is the route we have taken for most of our visits. We *usually* do signature dining for dinners, table service for lunches, and kind of have breakfasts on the go -- but by doing a couple of regular TS dinners, we open up a couple of slots for TS breakfasts.
This was our second trip to Kouzzina for breakfast; we went shortly after they first opened (we generally stay at YC or BC [it was BC this time around]) so this is a very easy walk in the morning. I'm sorry that during the trip I was kind of on the fence about whether or not I would do reviews, so I didn't take as many pictures nor record as many menu details as I should have, but here's what I've got:

Our ADR was for 7:30, and as you can see the place was mostly empty when we arrived (it had filled by the time we left -- always good to make ADRs!!). This is one of the few times I did take a picture of DH and DS in a restaurant.... DH had loved this place the first time we tried it. DS and I were kind of neutral on it but we figure we better give the big guy his way every once in a while
I tried:

Stacked Kouzzina Breakfast - Two Poached Eggs, Kalamata Olive Toast, Artichoke Spread, and Sweet Potato Hash with choice of Bacon or Chicken Sausage. Last time I had tried the Turkey Hash (which is served as a much larger portion, with two eggs and arugula on top) and thought it was decent, but I recall feeling that it was a lot of hash to get through -- so I figured this option would give me a little more variety on my plate. For me, the amount of artichoke spread that was on top of the eggs was overbearing; even though I am not a picky eater in the least, I found this to be just kind of an odd mix of overly strong flavors first thing in the morning.
Now, I might have still been a little cranky because the CM who took care of us was so. slow. in. bringing. my. coffee. As you could see, we were practically the only people in the place to begin with, and I don't *think* he had any other tables. Every once in a while when I eat out for breakfast and the server is really slow to bring the coffee, I figure the person must not be a coffee drinker themselves or they would know to get that stuff right onto the table! To me, it's kind of the cardinal rule of working breakfast service that you get the caffeine served ASAP, and I do kind of hold it against a server who doesn't get that. Not that it ruined the meal, but I'm just being honest in saying I do get a little out of sorts if I don't get my fix pretty promptly.
I will say that the bacon was excellent, the eggs were poached perfectly, and that olive toast was a nice little balance and would have been enough of a flavor addition to a plate with poached eggs and a hash made with regular (not sweet) potatoes. (Again, not that I don't like sweet potatoes, but even though I was trying it for a second time I've come out feeling that this flavor combo doesn't work for me.)
DH opted for:

House-cured Salmon - with capers, pickled sumac onions, feta cream cheese, sliced vine-ripened tomatoes, warm house-made pita bread. I'd kind of had my eye on this myself, but chose something else when DH decided to get this. (Don't know why, but he and I generally try not to order the same thing.) This was a very generous portion of salmon (he did have enough to share -- hurray!) but it would have been nice to have two pieces of the pita bread. We never could find the onions on the plate, but the tomato slices seemed as though they might have been a little pickled.... As was my take on my dish, he thought the overall combination of flavors was just a little too strong for breakfast; nothing wrong with any of it, but this is not your typical bagel and smoked salmon! He said he'd probably have liked it more as a lunch.
DS (15), went with:

Classic Golden Waffle - with Whipped Mascarpone Cheese, Honey, and Chopped Pecans and choice of Bacon or Chicken Sausage. He could not stop raving about the bacon! The waffles themselves were fluffy and nice, but ultimately he decided he wasn't a big fan of honey in place of maple syrup (even though he does like honey) and he liked but didn't love the mascarpone in this situation (it never melted down anymore than it is in the photo).
So, there wasn't anything *wrong* with any of the food we were served. We ultimately decided, however, that as much as we all like a change of pace and REALLY like menus at WDW that are unique to the particular location, we probably won't go back here unless of course there is a major menu overhaul. We left feeling certainly full enough, but just that the combinations overall didn't quite hit the mark for us. We've never been to Greece, but we kind of picture more of a light array of breakfast foods on some sun-drenched table near the sea; Cat Kora may be trying a little too hard to be different.
