Kosher Pizza

I am going to be staying at BWI Innkeepers Club from August 2nd to the 7th.
I heard there was kosher pizza in Disney World either by the Epcot resort area or in one of the restaurants. Any suggestions????

The only kosher food, to my knowledge, is the prepackaged meals. And I have not heard of any kosher pizza-serving locations anywhere in the Orlando area.

The nearest kosher restaurant to WDW is the "Lower East Side" in Lake Buena Vista, which also advertises itself as Halel and Hindu. I have not eaten there myself so I can't say anything about it.

And, by the way, Florida laws are so strict that I once saw a place in a mall advertising "Hebrew National Kosher Style Hot Dogs". I said to someone there that last I heard HN was kosher, not kosher-style. The reponse was that they cooked the hot dogs on the same grill as non-kosher meats so that made them tref.

Some of the resorts have kosher pizza (they come packaged just like the other kosher meals and are microwaved). The one place that seems to always have the pizza is Pizzafari in animal kingdom.
It's pretty good but really small! You might want to order 2.

This is also a great kosher restaurant/deli not too far from Disney in Altamonte Springs: http://www.amiraskoshermarket.com/ . (They used to deliver food, but I'm not sure if that service is still offered.)

I think Amira's closed several months ago. If you follow the link in the last post you will see that they are still listing the weekly specials from January.

Those two threads include info about TS and CS kosher at WDW and the two closest kosher restaurants (Lower East Side and Cohen's Deli).

Two places deliver to WDW: Cohen's Deli and Kosher Kats.

I hadn't heard that Amira's closed, it's been quite a few years since we've been there because they are pretty far from WDW in Altamonte. To my knowledge, they did not deliver to WDW.

As I understand it, pizza at Pizzafari is Kosher.
