WITh Shrek and jimmy netron coming replacing two other attactions at USF.. I can't see them closing KONG. Too much closed at one time,,.. Mummy I believe would be better off in a different location than kong's building... maybe in that area next to MIB and BTTF or possibly at IOA creating a new smaller Island between toon lagoon and Jussasic park....Maybe Mummy is the IOA attaction that they have not announced yet or with the Scorpion King not doing so hot at the movies maybe it got canned why have a attaction about a sorry movie anyway... don't repeat a waterworld again....

Scorpion King was the highest grossing April movie release of all time.

According to a 4/28 Press Release:
"The Rock, who turns 30 next week, is already being touted as the next Arnold Schwarzenegger, and plans for a "Scorpion King" sequel are in the works....
studio executives said they were thrilled with its performance. The film should pass $100 million, said Nikki Rocco, president of distribution at the Vivendi Universal SA-owned studio."

The Scorpion King has been a huge success for Universal. Not only did they make it on a shoe string budget, they didn't have any big name stars (except M. C. Duncan, who's part is small), AND they made a lot of money off it. .:jester:

And while Waterworld was not a succesful film here, it did make it's money back in European release and is a succesful show in USH and USJ.
