I know I most likely could go on YouTube and watch the ride, but I like to experience rides for the first time without doing that. This one however has me a little concerned. I just watched the version with Jack Black. I'm thinking this is the one the ride is based on. Are the creepy natives and the enormous bugs included in the ride?

Bugs yes, natives not on the ride itself but you will definitely see plenty of them in the queue..... ;)

It's mostly like a simulator with screens and the truck you're on moves. There's no seatbelts so that gives an idea about how rough it is.

If it's like the Kong section at Universal Hollywood, which I am assuming it is, it's more a of sensory overload than a physical ride.

... Maybe. I've been on the ride twice and not have seen any natives. So, it might depend on the time of day.

Different kind of natives. The unwashed masses of park goer type of "native" is what they're talking about.

I seriously have arachnophobia! I just about died the first time on Forbidden Journey. My DD is still laughing about riding Kong! I told her before hand that it was just Kong and dinosaurs, no spiders! Of course I was sitting on the right side of the truck and I'm sure I screamed some sort of profanity! Lucky it was during the week and most kids were in school! :worship:

Considering since day one they have been talking about the scare actors, I don't consider it a spoiler anymore. Also, they have warning signs before you go on the attraction referencing them.
