If we have a breakfast reservation at Kona, how do we get to MK afterwards? We'll be there Labor Day week, so the monorail won't be running because of construction, correct? Is there a boat from the Polynesia that we can take to MK?

I'm sorry; I know this has been asked before but I did a search and can't find my answer. Thanks

Boat from Poly dock... or monorail/ferry from TTC.... or walk to MK (if the path has re-opened)

Thanks. For some reason, I thought that section of the monorail wasn't running because of the construction at the Polynesian. I'm not sure where I thought I had read that.

Because there are 2 monorail platforms to choose from the Poly. The dedicated resort monorail is still under construction at Poly. The regular ‘express’ monorail loop can be boarded right next to poly at the TTC. It’s just a short walk under 5 minutes.

I recommend the resort boat from the Poly. It’s very peaceful.

Thank you. I think we'll do the resort boat!
In our many stays at the Poly we have taken the resort ferry many times. Just check it is running at that time. If not the walk to the TTC is quick for the main monorail.

Stayed for a week in April. Buses run very frequently from the Poly to MK. We took the boat from the small dock every time. You can’t beat the view of the Poly and GF sailing through that harbor on a boat on a nice day. Wait was never too long. 586237586238

I have a question that goes along with this thread. If we are eating an early breakfast at Ohana at the Poly in August and then want to head to Epcot afterwards, what would be our transportation options to be at Epcot for rope drop?

At this point, you'd be looking at taking the bus to Epcot.

Just a reminder that eating breakfast at a resort doesn't give you the right to park at that resort for the entire day if you are not actually an overnight guest of that resort...

I think we'll be taking Uber or Lyft to the Poly for breakfast.

I guess I'm still unclear on what part of the monorail is closed. Is the monorail from MK to Epcot running?

The monorail around Seven Seas Lagoon is running (both the Express and the Resort monorail) but does not stop at Poly right now. The monorail from TTC to Epcot and back is not running at all. Guests traveling from the MK need to take the bus from the MK bus depot (instead of riding the monorail to TTC and transferring to the Epcot monorail, since that's closed now). Guests traveling from the monorail resorts (Poly, CR, GF) to Epcot take the bus from those resorts.
