Kona to go?

So, we have an ADR for four for dinner on our arrival day. DH is now saying he really, really wants to watch some football game. In all fairness to him, we'd originally planned on arrival the next day but I changed it

So, the question is, can 3 out of 4 of us go to dinner and just bring him back something? Don't know if it matters but we're on the DDP.

I can't tell you what someone will do but I'll tell you my horrid experience at Kona with this same thing. I ate dinner there a couple years ago with my family and they offered dessert but I was too full. I asked if I could come back and get the dessert to go and they said sure. I came back later and was rudely told no. The hostess said they don't do take out. They were so rude about it that I was flabbergasted. So....I'm hoping that someone responds with a situation like you have (where you are sitting there and order it - like an additional entree). I would also hope if you were already sitting down and ordering that it could be treated like any 'leftover' and you can take it to go.

But as far as 'to go', they wouldn't do it for me.

I think you'll be OK in your situation. Disney TS doesn't do complete 'to-go' like the PP said. But if you're sitting down I don't see a problem. I remember another DISer one time saying they were at a TS and someone in their party stayed in the room because they were sick. The restuarant gladly put their order in to-go containers.

Maybe I should call Kona Probably get three different answers if I call three different times tho!
