Kona to Epcot for Tequila Tasting...

First time poster...long time lurker

My BF and I have a 9:55 Breakfast ADR at Kona on Saturday November 13th. Will we have enought time to eat and make it to Epcot for his Tequila Tasting at noon? There were a few ealier ADR's availabe, but I wanted to be able to sleep in as late as possible as we will be attending EMH at MK that night.

I think it'll be next to impossible unfortunately. Even on a good week day, it's sometimes taken me 45min to 1hr to get from the World Showcase to the Poly. You have the walking time, the wait for transportation etc ...

Add to that you're talking a Saturday, and travelling during peak transportation times. Now add to that the last Saturday of the F&W Fest! I've got a feeling transportation is going to be packed into Epcot.

I'd recommend getting the earliest ADR possible

If you want to take a taxi then it is totally doable.

Thank you so much! I have changed our reservation to 9:05 am. I am thinking fo taking a cab from Pop to the Poly to allow a little additional sleep...about what time would I need to get the cab to make the ADR?

I would leave around ~8:45, but I really enjoy my sleep

One unusual suggestion. Although the monorail station is right outside Kona, instead of taking the monorail to the TTC walk to the TTC after breakfast. If you take the monorail, there are three other stops before the TTC and about a 20 minute ride; the walk from Great Ceremonial House to the TTC monorail entrance is only about five minutes. Then take the monorail to Epcot.

Thank you all for your help! My BF will be happy to get a few more winks of sleep! I'm such a worry wort about running late...so its nice to know that we can just walk to the TTC to catch the monorail if we are running short on time.

Last time I looked there were three monorail loops.

1. Resort Loop - TTC >> Poly >> GF >> MK >> Cont >> TTC

2. Outer or Express Loop - TTC >> MK >> TTC

3. Epcot Loop - TTC >> EC >> TTC

Has one suddenly disappeared?
