Kona or Whispering Canyon

Wanted your ideas, which would you choose?? Kona or Whispering Canyon. (2 adults)

Kona for breakfast,WC for dinner,gotta do both

We love both, but they are very different. Kona is much quieter and more refined than Whispering Canyon, which is loud and boisterous! When we were at the Whispering Canyon, my husband asked for a second soft drink--the waiter proceeded to announce to the entire restuarant that he had a drinking problem(!) and then gave him an enormous jar filled with Coke accompanied by the longest straw you have ever seen in your life! There are also sing-a-longs to participate in and even the hokey pokey, all while you dine. To sum up, Kona is quiet and the food is amazing (more upscale). Whispering Canyon is very loud and the food is also really good. Have fun wherever you end up going!

For 2 adults I would definitely choose Kona.

We ate at both and I agree that the atmospheres and food are very different. Kona is steak and a quiet relaxed meal. WCC is barbecue, with a boisterous atmoshere. You can't go wrong with either one, I think it just depends on the type of dining experience you're looking for.

DW and I would probably choose Whispering Canyon over Kona. We have been to both and like the selections at WCC better.

I prefer Kona for my husband and myself.....just not a Whispering Canyon type of girl.......when they call attention to you the way they do, it embarrasses me..

We did both on our last trip and definitely preferred Whispering Canyon. We sat in a back section where we didn't get teased at all (a very good thing!)

Both!!! Definitely WC if you have kids. There is nothing exciting going on at Kona and the kids won't appreciate the food there although both are delicious. Good luck!
