Looking for dinner at a MK resort (one TS credit). I ate at The Wave last month and it was okay. I had the filet and ordered it Medium Rare and it was much more medium than rare. My daughter had the pasta dish and seemed to like it okay.

Does anyone have any thing to tell me about dinner at Kona? The menu looks good, but I'd really appreciate some first hand reviews.

Thanks!

I've eaten at the Kona Cafe twice before and loved it both times. Never tried the Wave, but was tempted to for this trip. However, the menu looks a bit weird on some things and I don't think I'd find anything there that my son would eat. I opted to book Kona's on the night I was considering the Wave.

I have stayed at the Poly many times and have had dinner. The food is great along with a livly atmospher. I booked again for the end of April. I have not tried the Wave but have read good reports. I might try it for lunch this time.
Enjoy

We've eaten at Kona the last two years in a row & have really enjoyed it! Very good food, good service, nice enough place. We'll eat there again this September but we also plan to try the Wave this year as well.

I like both.

Much as I love Kona, I consider it an "upscale coffee shop" due to the sound levels and being open to people passing by outside while I consider the Wave more of a family restaurant.

Where is the menu at for the Wave? Any reviews on it yet?

kona - you can even get some great sushi at dinner..:goodvibes

I second the great sushi!

I haven't had dinner at the Wave yet, but my DF and I enjoyed Kona a lot. We were seated literally behind where the sushi was made so it made it a more private dinner. We liked it so much that we are planning on going back for dinner during our honeymoon in October. :)

Kona is one of my favorite restaurants. We have never been disappointed with their food, and even though it is out in the open we never found it too noisy.

We have eaten at both and enjoyed both. However, we really liked the food better at Konas. We preferred the atmosphere at the Wave more though.
