I would rate Kona as a solid "good", not on par with California Grill, Jiko, or Citricos, but solid. Ohana gets a whole lot of praise, mostly because they are an "all you can eat" restaurant, and people who can eat a whole lot like that. The quality of the food though, well, that's another story. We've been there on two occasions. Once with my 9 year old cousin, and I'll admit, he did enjoy the festivities. The other time we were with a large group of friends who had chosen Ohana. Both times the food was just "eh". All of the meat was dry, really dry. It sits on grills, all piled up...look as you come in. And it just dries out. If you ask for beef on the rare side they will bring it, but the cut of beef is just okay, and so it's still tough. I would definitely choose Kona...
