We have never eaten at Kona before, will my husband and I like it?

Kona is our second favorite breakfast location. Click the Dining Reviews linked in my signature for at least two full reviews with photos and such.

He'll like it if he orders the Macadamia pancakes with sausage/bacon, and some Kona coffee! :cool1:

Yum...we were there in October staying at the Poly and our favorite breakfast was at Kona...food was fresh and fast!

I was surprised how much I liked Kona for breakfast. The food was great (love the macadamia pineapple pancakes) and they have real coffee there!!

I made ressies this morning for brkfst next May because of all the great comments on the board.:goodvibes

We love Kona! We always make a point each trip to go to the Poly and eat breakfast at Kona at least once each trip. I always have the ham and cheese omlet. I noticed you're from Alabama. We are too, so here's a tip you might be interested in. They have grits even though they aren't on the menu.:woohoo::woohoo: They're pretty yummy ones too. We always sub them for the potatoes that come with many of the meals.

Anyway, I definitely recommend Kona.:thumbsup2

you won't like it....

YOU'LL LOVE IT!!

it's our must-do breakfast. awesome coffee, big portions, attentive staff, nice scenery and quieter than a character breakfast!

favorite favorite!

DH and I had breakfast there twice in Sept. and they were both great. The mac. nut/pineapple pancakes are great and DH had the pork hash/poached egg thing the second day and it was really good too. Didn't try the tonga toast though, it just sounded to sweet for us. There is also a platter that you get all of it (except the tonga). They are very reasonably priced also.

Take it from some fellow Alabamians: GO!

Kona for breakfast is a must do for us every trip! We love it! DH and I split the tonga toast because it's pretty big!

Its a great place, really nice and peaceful and good food. Most people seem to love the tonga toast though I find that too greasy - the macadamia pancakes are the way to go! Loads of piccies in my reviews if you want to see them :thumbsup2

I always find it REALLY cold in Kona for some reason, so take a sweater!!!!
