My 2 DD's (14 & 11) aren't big eaters....if they split the Big Kahuna with DH and a fruit platter will that be enough food for the 3 of them? DD 14 would eat the french toast, DD 11 would eat the pancakes and DH could finish the eggs, meat and potatos, and all would share the fruit. Nobody's touching my Tonga Toast after everything I've read on here about it:rotfl:
Should that work for us? This is the day before our DDP starts , so it's OOP.

At least 2 people (maybe more) could split the macadamia nut pancakes-according to our waiter, it's the largest dish they have for breakfast.

I ordered them on our last trip. They were amazing but I was quite full after just 1 pancake.

I split the Big Kahuna with my then 14-year-old DD, who's not a big breakfast eater. Actually, she was barely awake for our 9am breakfast.:sad2: I'm very petite (5'2", 104 lb), and though I love food, I usually tend to nibble a bit of everything, but not eat a heck of a lot. Well, we finished our plate with barely a crumb left. It's big...but maybe not big enough to split 3 ways. And once your DDs and DH take a bite of those macadamia pancakes...well...they may end up fighting for the last morsel ;)

You can always just order 2 plates, and if someone is still hungry, just grab a snack somewhere along the way. That's what's so great about WDW - so many places to go to grab a tasty treat. :thumbsup2

I had to chuckle at this - I'm smaller than that & finish the entire Big Kahuna by myself!! I'd say thre's not enough to split between 3 - you don't get a full serving size of the french toast or pancakes, just a sampling size (as I call it).

I also finish every morsel of the Tonga Toast & NO ONE shares that with me, EVER.

I agree, it definitley is not enough to share with 3, maybe not even two. It is smaller portion sizes of the components

Another vote for not big enough to share with 3. I ordered and I gave dh the french toast and the pancakes as I cant swallow them due to my cancer.

we shared the fruit platter too. That is pretty big, the one with the pineapple. It also comes with a mini banana bread loaf that we didnt care for, again too dense and hard to chew and swallow etc.

Maybe just order them a kids meal or just a side of the pancakes or french toast to share.

Even if its not on the menu, they will make something up for you if you ask etc.

I think it`s big enough for them to share, you won`t be able to eat all of the tonga toast it`s HUGE, your DH can finish it for you. It`s a great excuse to get a snack mid morning. My DH is a huge eater and he couldn`t finish the Big Kahuna breakfast last year.
