Kona eating time

So I'm thinking about booking a table at Kona for around 8pm on a Wednesday (after leaving AK around 7:30, during Evening EMH - i think we can get everything done and eschew that last 30 minutes). The Electric Water Pageant passes the Poly around 9 and Wishes is at 10.

Could we: (1) be done in an hour so we could walk to the beach and see the EWP?, (2) if not done, leave our table (tell the server first) for 15-20 minutes to watch it and come back, or (3) eat in an hour/hour and 15 minutes, go to another resort to see the EWP and then go to MK to see Wishes from Main Street (or ride some rides)?

You could finish in under an hour depending on how many course you order.

I would not do your second choice though. Kona isn't really a restaurant geared toward the shows. The Electrical Water Pageant doesn't take too much time though....maybe 8 minutes or so?

#3 might work for you at the GF because the Pageant is there around 9:20.

CR is the last resort for it and so wouldn't work for your purposes I don't think. Getting to WL and or FW would take long enough that those choices are no goes too in my estimate.

If you just order dinner, with no apps or dessert, you would be OK.

If you are spending the whole day at AK, why don't you make the PS for half an hour earlier, and leave the park earlier. My reasoning is that if you have spent the day at AK, you probably would have seen/done everything by 6, 6:30 or so.

Kona provides a great meal, and I want you to experience all of it (apps - sticky wings and crab cakes, entree - all are fantastic, and Dessert - killeau tart, coco puffs - yum!)!

This is what I did. We have an earlier dinner time so we can fit in just a little more before bed! we're SOOOOOOOO excited by the Kona menu/reviews.
