ANyone ordered and enjoyed the pot of pressed Kona Coffee at Boma??

My DH and I are coffee fanatics and want to know how much the pot is--how many cups you can get out of it---and the quality.

we always get a press pot when we eat at Jiko (I'm going to ASSUME it's the same coffee you would get at Boma)

I think we each got 2 cups out of the press pot...maybe 2.5.

coffee is VERY good...much better then the nescafe crap everywhere else!

we've never been to the kona cafe...so I can't compare the two...

hope I helped some.

We have had the pressed pot at Kona Cafe and it's wonderful! It's such a special treat! We love the pressed pot at Jiko also...probably a little bit better than Kona Cafe. ;)

But you won't be disappointed with the Kona Pressed Pot!:D

The pressed pot of coffee at BOMA (or JIKO) is not Kona coffee. Kona coffee is from Hawaii and in WDW, you can find it at the Kona Cafe or at the cart located between the Cafe and the entrance to the monorail.

The coffee used in the pressed pots at Boma is from Africa - I do not recall the brand, but you can also buy it (ground or whole bean) at Mara.

I thought the pressed pot coffee at BOMA was very good and worth the price. IIRC, it was $6 plus tax. TThe pot held a little more than 2 good sized cups. The presssed pot coffee is not included in the buffet price.

I like Caribou and Starbuck coffee as well as Kona coffee. When I'm desperate enough, I'll drink anything, including Nescafe. :teeth:

DH is mad for Kona Coffee. We have the press pot at Kona Cafe, then buy bags of beans and grind and brew in our room (scary, isn't it?).

The pressed pot at Boma is Kenyan, I believe. It was good, but we much prefer the Kona.

Kenyan--not Kona--sorry--I knew that, just got my K's mixed up. Thanks for helping out.

I can't wait!!

The Kona is much much better than the Kenyan, but both are good compared to the swill they serve in the parks.
