Lunch or dinner? What are your favorite menu items? Is it a good use of table service credit for lunch?

The Kona Salad rocks. And they have the wings from Ohana for lunch. The fish tacos and pulled pork tacos were really good at lunch.

Worth the use of a credit but probably for dinner.

We are at Saratoga Springs right now and went for dinner on Thursday when we cheked in. It was our first time at Kona and EVERYTHING we ate was absoltely amazing!!! we arrived early and were still about an hour way to eating so we decided to try the sushi bar while we waited. We don't do anything raw, so we had the Tempura roll. Delicious!! :goodvibes Once we were seated, we each had an appetizer because if their are Potsickers on the menu DH will want them, but Im not too crazy for them so I had the fried shrimp. DH raved about the potsickers and the sauce it came in, the shrimp was soooo good! I used DH's appetizer sauce to dip the shrimp and it really was good! Four our entree we both had the Teriyaki Steak with rice and brocollini, but without the sauce because we dont like sweet sauces. The steak was to die for and sauce was brought on the side. It had a nice flavor and was good, just not something we wanted our entire steak to be covered in. For dessert we hd heard about the chocolate torte being excellent and it really was. We were full and took them to go because we really wanted to try it. We ate one when we got back to the resort and the other one we heated up today and was still as delicious. After eating at Kona, all I can say is... :worship: It's my new favorite restaurant. Everything we had, we loved. Can't wait to go back again! We took some pics, I will post them up soon! You will love it!.

I prefer dinner for two reasons. First, the Kona Island Sushi Bar is open then and you can order their sushi in the café. Second, that delicious pineapple bread they serve is only available at dinnertime.

Agreed. We always get two loaves.

My favourite meal of our entire last trip was the Teriyaki-style New York Strip with the pineapple teriyaki glaze. I substituted the mashed potatoes for the rice they were serving with it. Top it off with a Kona Kone and I was one happy camper.

We've been several times for lunch and dinner. The only thing we have ever ordered that wasn't fantastic was the Kona Cone. It looked cool and the ice cream was tasty, but the stuff all around it was a bit stale. Every other dessert, app and entree was memorably delicious! It's our favorite restaurant on property.

Dinner. Kona is one of our very favorites. :goodvibes The bread, chocolate fondue and the ginger crusted ribeye yummy!

Mmm....this is one of our ADR's that I'm really looking forward to. We haven't ever been there and the reviews I've been reading make it sound like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

We started with the giant pineapple drinks...can't remember the name. I had the terriyaki Steak and my daughter had the ginger crusted ribeye. Both were so good and huge. Neither one of us could finish our steaks so we did not order dessert. After dinner went down and watched the electric water parade on the beach and Wishes.
