Are advance dining reservations needed or even possible for Kona Cafe at the Poly? We'll heading down during free dining in August.

I have reservations there for Sunday night! So they definitely do take them. And I'd recommend making reservations, especially with free dining being offered.

Kona Cafe is a popular resturant so you will sure want an ADR. We really have enjoyed our dinners there, hope you do too.

Like someone said- Kona is excellent and soaring in popularity. Dinner has been harder to get an ADR when I have wanted one. Last year during free dining- ADR's were very tough to get IMO (which i why i hate free dining- but that's another topic) so I would say if you are thinking about trying it, make the ADR.

Only if you want to eat and nothing is Free in the business world. Guest throughout the entire year pay for it...

Especially during Free Dining.

If you have booked a trip during free dining, you should start looking at menus and making ADRs now. Better to have to plan around them than to be turned away and lose out on the benefits of free dining.

You'll most likely need a ressie - last time we were there it was a mad house. People without ADR's were being turned away. Don't be disappointed, make that ADR.

Kona Cafe is great and very popular. You need an ADR
I would advise that you make all TS ADR's now for your free dining trip or you may find you can not eat where you want. The restauarants are crazy busy.

I just called and made an ADR for sept 17th and got a table for 8 at 6:50.... so i say call asap!!

I would most definitely recommend you have an ADR for Kona, as it is a very popular place We tried it for the first time in September and now it's at the top of our ADR list every trip

Yes, and yes! Every time we go to Kona they are turning people away with no ADRs. I have never even seen them offer a long wait to anyone, just an absolute "no".
