We ate at Kona Cafe on Friday 2nd November - our first night there. We were slightly delayed in taking off and arrived at the Poly at 8:10 - our ADR was at 8:15. The front desk telephoned up and got our reservation changed to 9pm. I thought this was really good - considering our booking was for 8 people.
We were seated promptly on arrival at Kona and our service was excellent throughout the dinner. The bread and butter was excellent.
I had the Kona salad as an appetizer which was delicious and this was followed by the Beef Terriaki. This was excellent. I was only sorry I couldn't manage dessert as I had read so much about them, but unfortunately my body clock thought it was almost 3am and we had my young daughter and nephew with us who were now fading fast!
All our party had excellent meals and between us covered most of the menu.
It was so good that my parents and in-laws visited Kona again during our holiday (while we had a night of freedom!). My DD who is 6 was most impressed with the Kona Cone.
I would recommend this restaurant to anybody. You won't be disappointed.
