On Sunday, May 30, we ate at Kona Cafe for the first time. We've gone to 'Ohana several times but had never given Kona any consideration. Big mistake!! Lesson learned!! We all absolutely loved Kona! :lovestruc I was a little concerned about my super picky eater middle DD. There really didn't appear to be anything on the menu that she would eat. When we sat down, she looked bummed. I knew what was wrong before I even asked. I talked her into trying the shrimp & scallops. She loves fried shrimp so I convinced her to give it a try. Turns out, she loved the shrimp & the scallops!! My DH was kinda disappointed she liked the scallops! He was already planning on eating them. :) DH had the teriyaki steak, I had the ginger-crusted steak & oldest DD had the pan asian noodles. We all loved every bite!! Our youngest DD ordered the kids' hot dog. A hot dog is a hot dog. Middle DD & I both had the Kona Kone for dessert (YUM!!!!) while oldest DD & DH had the cheesecake. Everyone totally agreed that Kona is a must do for our next trip!!! Thanks to everyone here at DIS for recommending it!!

The ginger-crusted rib eye was one of my favourite meals too, probably tied with the mushroom filet from Le Cellier... YUM.
