Kona Cafe question...

Ok this may sound odd but, we are arriving on a Sunday and we have an ADR for 6:20 PM that night. How long does it take to get served there? I would like to be back to my room by 8 pm to catch a football game. (I know, so I'm hooked). What are my chances of this happening?

I think Bus from CBR but I would be willing to take the car if it was faster. Heck, I would be willing to go by rickshaw if it were faster.

If it's in low season, you should be able to drive your car back to CBR by 8 pm--as long as no one dilly dallies at dinner. Now if it's during XMAS crush, you need to take a deep breath and know that you may miss the kick-off

I definitely would drive myself rather than take Disney transportation. And I'd probably use valet parking AND tell them that I would be claiming the car by 7:40 at the latest, so please have 'er parked nearby

There is a bar right by Kona, you could always stay there to watch the game after your meal.

I like that idea but the wife and kids may think differently.

Well, let say all goes well at dinner, which is usually great at Konas. Plus they have wonderful desserts. I am sure you are used to eating quickly on vacation with the kids. But it will still be at least an hour. Then off to TTC to catch bus to CBR. Maybe another 45 minutes or more. It would be much faster by Taxi. There are usually some waiting right out front and then maybe a 10-15 min drive back.

Probably going to miss the kickoff, so relax and enjoy dinner and then the three quarters when you get to the room!
