I was just looking at the menus for Kona on All Ears and on the Dis. On the Dis, the menu says it is from 3/08, and has the Kona Chowder, but only on the lunch menu. On all ears, it is from 2/08, and does not have the Kona Chowder at all.

On our upcoming trip in September, we are having lunch there, and I'm wondering if they do, in fact, have the Kona Chowder again? I have never been able to try it, and i'm hoping it's true!! Thanks!! :goodvibes

When we were there earlier this month, the waitress said it is gone for good. She said it's because it was not "polynesian enough.":confused3

I am bummed because it was my absolute favorite thing on the Kona menu.

Bummer, that soup sounded yummy. Kath, did you enjoy your meals there? Is the Tuna Oscar still on the menu? We want go to Kona's for that dish.:)

We love the food there, and always go when we visit Disney. The Tuna Oscar was on the menu edarlier this month, but I did not try it. I have heard (read) great reviews of it, though. :goodvibes
