Kona Cafe or Liberty Tree Tavern?

Which would you choose? I've been to LTT and loved it, but I'm not sure if it will be as good without the characters.

I also loved LTT for dinner back in July but would definitely not go back for dinner without the characters. The food was good and all, but I can get better food at Crystal Palace (loved their salmon) and have some great character interaction for my kids. I could also go to Garden Grill at Epcot for Chip & Dale and MIckey & Pluto and have a meal served to us family style.

I have never been to Kona but have heard good things about it. If given the choice I would definitely try that over going to LTT without characters.

I agree with PP. We also loved LTT with the characters, glad we got to go one last time this summer while the characters were still there. I would do LTT for lunch though, but for dinner my choice would be Kona.

Have you been to O'Hana, if not we had dinner there the other night and it was great. Lots of food and very good.

The food at Kona is much better. DH refuses to eat at the LTT. He says he can get all the same stuff from the Stouffer's Frozen food section.

No, I haven't. But I haven't been to Kona either. Both sound good.

I think we'll skip LTT this time. I agree that it tastes very much like frozen Stouffers!

Definitely Kona Cafe! I did not like the food at LTT and I don't think I'd eat it without the characters... maybe if there is a menu change along with the character-loss I would go for LTT, but not with the current offerings. Kona is WAAAAAAYYYY better!

Definitely KONA for me!! It was one of the best meals we had last October, and we are hoping to hit it again this coming October. LTT is ok for lunch, but I would always pick Kona over it

If you liked LTT for the characters, now you are down to deciding just based on food. In that case, there really isn't any decision left - the food at Kona is much better than LTT.

We wouldn't even go back to LTT if the characters were there! That was some of the worst restaurant food I've ever had. We did try it again at lunch and at least it was a bit better.

Kona has consistently been good and we would certainly recommend it over LTT.
