Which would you prefer if you had one ressie left and had to pick between the two? I havent been to either and know that the Concourse is closing but have read amazing reviews of Kona
thanks for you input

I really enjoyed Kona. The food was excellent and the service was even better.

I ate at The Concourse Steakhouse last night and my DH and I really enjoyed it.I think we still perfer The Kona Cafe, but since Concourse is closing its worth making a reservation for. I loved both the French Onion Soup and the Tomato/Mozzerella(sp) salad and my DH really really enjoyed his RibEye.

Definitley Kona Cafe. :thumbsup2 That was one of the best meals on our last trip and plan to return on our next trip. The crab cakes are to die for!

Kona. The only reason I would say Concourse is if you want to experience it before it closes.

I guess I'm the only one that votes for the Concourse. We loved the steaks and it was quite and relaxing. The Kona is nice but we like Ohana's better.

Ok, I have to say that Concourse has been my favorite breakfast spot for several years now and I was excited to go this christmas for my last visit before it closed. I cancelled a ressie at Kona to go to Concourse. I wish I hadn't. The food was not nearly as good as it normally is and the restaurant was quite dirty. I don't know if they have "let it go" since it is closing or what, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there anymore. The steak (I always get steak and eggs there) was not nearly as good as it has been in the past and they changed the stickey mickey big time (wasn't good at all in my opinion).
So, I say do Kona! We are also thinking about trying Olivia's Cafe for breakfast next time too. It looks very yummy!! Just a suggestion.

thanks for all the inputs everybody....
we actually changed our reservation time and are going 3/30-4/6 and i made adr's for both the concourse and the kona

I say that because I've been debating the same thing. We're a group of 14 heading to Concourse next week. My mouth keeps drooling over the Kona menu but it's to late for a party of our size to switch. (That and everyone is looking forward to their steaks.) We've never tried either. Here's hoping we made the right choice. (That and the fact that this is our last chance to try Concourse.)
