Kona Cafe new menu questions

Ok. Can anyone confirm a couple things?

First is the pressed pot now just joffereys coffee in a pressed pot? Or is it the same delicious kona coffee from before?

Second can you request old menu items? My kids really liked the Donald breakfast and I noticed it's no longer there.

Any confirmations would be great. Thanks!

I had the press pot too far apart 2012 and 2017 to be sure it was the same coffee but it was still pretty good.

My understanding is that the press pot coffee is Joffrey's Hawaiian Kona blend, which I suppose is different than the Joffrey's typically sold around property.

As for your second question, you can always request an old menu item, but I wouldn't count on it being granted.

For off menu items at any restaurant you can ask, but there's no guarantee it will be possible. It depends on if the components of Donald's breakfast are still included in other menu offerings and/or if the ingredients are available in the kitchen and if there is kitchen staff and space to make it the morning you are there.

Just back. The pressed pot coffee is joffereys dreadful kona blend. BLEh. Sorry joffereys is just nasty to me. The old pressed pot coffee was smooth and bold. This just tasted like Poo.

They did let us get the old Donald Duck kids breakfast. That was nice.

The new eggs Benedict was sorta gross. I like pork belly but usually when it's crispier. This was heavy and fatty. I felt like crap after I ate it. Rip Samoan.

Please e-mail Disney and let the know what you thought of the new breakfast items. Maybe if enough people complain they will bring the old ones back. It worked for the Liberty Tree, maybe it would work for the Kona Cafe.

We had bfast there on Tuesday 6/6. Terrible. Wont be going back. The pancakes are just plain with a small pot of "sauce". The Tonga was blech. Very, very disappointing.
