with the teriyaki sauce for dinner tonight!! :worship: It was almost as good!!:rotfl:

Here is the recipe

Beef Teriyaki
Kona Café, Polynesian Resort
Yield: sauce will serve 6 to 8 persons

Beef Teriyaki - Sauce
1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1 ounce sugar
1/4 cup Sake
1/4 cup Mirin
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
1/4 cup diced green onion
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup cornstarch and water

in a saucepan, bring all ingredients, except the cornstarch to a boil. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer, then stir in the cornstarch and water mixture. Cook for an additional 10 minutes. Strain the sauce through a colander

I marinated the steak for a couple of hours with most of the sauce and I also set some aside that I warmed and served with the steak. YUMMY!!!:thumbsup2

Yum. sounds delicious! I'll have to try that. My DD has recently discovered teriyaki and loves it. Thanks for sharing!
