Kona Cafe for which meal?

That's a hard one. I'd say breakfast or dinner, they are both really good.

But, if I could only pick one I'd pick dinner.

I've eaten at Kona for lunch and dinner and I would say definitely dinner. The lunch menu is limited and doesn't include everything dinner does.(including most steak choices which are delicious!)

Dinner.

Breakfast is pretty basic breakfast fare, though the coffee is good (rare on property!). They only have 1 truly unique breakfast item (tonga toast) and I thought it was revolting myself.

The dinner menu, however, has some pretty unique stuff.

Love the dinner. I like to go here when we have no plans after dinner, and we can relax and enjoy it. No rushing back to a park.

Can't wait for August! I made ADRs today and have Kona for our last night. I usually get the Pan Asia Noodles, but that porkchop looks good as does the mahi-mahi.

We went for lunch and I have to say, we were disappointed. I loved the atmosphere at the Poly and the convience of being so close to MK. But the atmosphere in Kona itself resembled a cafeteria, in my opinion. However, I have heard that their breakfast is really great. It seems like the kind of place that I wouldn't mind having breakfast. For dinner and lunch, I'd want something with a bit more atmosphere.

Did dinner 2 years ago and got ADR's again for dinner this June. Thought dinner was great but I want to get there for breakfast sometime.

I'd go for lunch or dinner. We went for breakfast and it was icky. We didn't like the tonga toast and the omelet was something you would find at Denny's.

We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Kona in July. My favorite meal was breakfast; there was so much to choose from, and they had actual Kona coffee. Lunch and dinner were good, but breakfast was better IMO. :)

Breakfast is fantastic! The tonga toast is the best. But I really think you can't go wrong with a meal here at any time.

I had Breakfast there in 2006 and found the tonga toast to be quite disgusting. I felt like I was going to have a sugar attack right then and there after eating it. I wish I had just gotten eggs or something. It definitely wasn't the right meal choice for me. My mother enjoyed her meal she had eggs, and said the coffee was delishes after almost a week of that stuff most other places serve on property.

We are doing Dinner at Kona on our Trip in May and we are looking forward to it!

I would say Kona Cafe for dinner! We went there for dinner and it was great. My kids loved it and the food was great.

Well, we only had dinner and we really enjoyed it...here is a dessert.

Had breakfast the morning before our cruis two weeks ago. It was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had.

In the same resort how is Ohana for breakfast, we have only been there for dinner?

We ate at Both breakfast and dinner this past December and loved them both. You can't go wrong with either meal.
