What is your favorite entree at Kona- What about your favorite dessert?

I love the pork chop, and DH thinks the tuna oscar is one of the best meals at WDW. Call me a big kid but I always order the Kona cone for dessert. DH always gets the banana creme brulee

DH and I love the steak teriyaki for dinner at the Kona Cafe. We've tried several of the desserts; if you love chocolate then the kiluea torte is great; I love the banana creme brulee'; DSs like the kiluea torte and the "kiddie" cone.

Oh, Kona is so good for dinner! My favorite meal there is either the terriyaki steak with pineapple or the coconut almond chicken. For dessert, the Kona kilaheau torte. It's like a little slice of heaven!

I also agree on the teriyaki steak. I subbed the yukon gold mashed potatos instead of the rice. Dessert I had the cocunut tart (not sure what the exact name is), which was light and delicious. I ate half and had the other half for breakfast the next morning. :goodvibes

I also had the teriyaki steak, subbing mashed potatoes, when we were there in October. It was wonderful! The yukon gold mashed was nice but the sticky rice they served with my husband's steak (guess that is more traditional per our waitress) looked like a good compliment too.

We really love kona cafe. Last fall I had the pork chop and it really was great. DH enjoys the steak. I've also had the chicken there (maybe coconut chicken something?) and DH has also had the scallops and shrimp. We've enjoyed all our meals there and I don't know that you can go wrong!!!! Dessert you MUST have the Kona Kone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT's awesome!:thumbsup2 You can't beat a huge waffle cone and yummy chocolate and vanilla icecream WITH a chocolate mickey, toppings AND a stick of cotton candy it!!!!!:lovestruc What's not to love!? Have fun and enjoy your trip!

Sticky wings are a great starter. I love the Tuna Oscar with fried green tomatoes. Coconut Cream Kiki Tart is my favorite dessert, although most of our group goes for the Kona Cone. Im making it a priority to get lots offood pics this trip!

Yes, the sticky wings were fantastic. I had the pork chop. I don't have a clue what anyone else had, but everyone loved it! Creme Brulee for dessert.
The bread and butter was SO good!

Coconut Almond Chicken with a Lapu Lapu and finished off with a Creme Brulee.

mmmm....

I LOVE the coconut almond chicken so much that I have tried to make it at home too. So good!
My husband loved the pork chop.
The sushi there is also very good.
I am a fan of the kiddie dessert, the gigantic ice cream cone with cotton candy on top.:) The coconut cream kiki tart is delicious too. Everything is really good though.

We love Kona and have eaten there several times. I always get the Shrimp and Scallops and the Creme Brulee. My husband loves the steaks and always gets the Kilauea Torte.

I really miss the Lobster Bisque they used to have. It was a real bummer when they took it off the menu.

For me- Shrimp and Scallops - panko breaded shrimp and pan-seared scallops with sticky rice, roasted pepper sauce and spicy passion fruit-orange-guava sauce $20.99
For DW- Teriyaki-style New York Strip - sirloin strip grilled with pineapple teriyaki glaze served with sticky rice and stir-fried broccolini $27.99

Fort Dessert-Kilauea Torte $5.49

This place has really great food.

Oooo, that Tuna sounds really good. I've only eaten lunch there and decided on dinner this time. Thanks for the advice!

Does anyone have a picture of the Kona Cone they could share? Sounds yummy. Thanks!
