Kona Cafe, Artist Point, or Yachtsman Steakhouse

Peronsally, I would rather go to AP and Kona. We had our first meal at Yachtsmen in March, and it would take a heck of a lot for us to go back. The apps were out of this world, but the beef entrees were subpar. Everyone raves about the restaurant though, so I think it's worth a shot.

V&A is a signature restaurant according to the Walt Disney World site. So if your contact told you that YSH is # 1 signature, I would question the accuracy.

In one post you said you didn't know the formula for ranking ("service, volume, customers") and now you say it's based on guest feedback.:confused3

I've never received an email. I have received post cards that ask me to respond via online but those seem to be primarily interested in resort feedback. The only restaurant questions pertain to those at the resort at which we've recently stayed. That leaves many restaurants not addressed on any given trip for us.

I have no doubt that WDW has a number of ways to evaluate restaurants. I just don't think any of us are privy to the info. As in all things WDW, those who know aren't talking and those that talk don't know.

Just wondering what the OP decided on this and how it turned out.
