Does Ohana have the same type of food as Kona? I ask because we really enjoyed Kona last time and we plan on going there again. But I also have heard great things about Ohana and want to try that as well. Do you think they are to much of the same thing? We would have Kona on a Friday for dinner and then Ohana for dinner on Monday (or vice versa). TIA!

we do both, I don't think they're that close at all, plus Ohana is family style...

We have done both several times...They are totally different dining experiences (IMO). Ohana is family style and the food was very good. Kona is a little more 'upscale' in terms of menu choices and we thought it was excellent. :)

 Have just recently been to Kona. If you get the server named, Joan from Winter Garden, ask for a new server. I'm not going into all details, but the woman has been reported to her manager, and to higher management.

Kona's breakfast at the end of August was incredibly disappointing. :guilty: No one had the tonga toast though.

We have done both and I dont think they food is anything alike, the breads, wings, salads, desserts, potstickers are totally different

Great! Thank you everyone for your input!! Looks like we will be planning to eat at both of them! :)

The wings are different? I've read so many positive reviews of the wings at both Ohana and Kona Cafe that I kind of just figured they were the same.
