is it REALLY any time any reason? I bought some luggage just about a year ago, and I have used it about three times. Got home from a cruise this week, went to take it down to the laundry room and the stupid handle broke. Will they exchange it? I did use my Kohls card to purchase it.

They should. I purchased a winter coat for my kid at the end of winter so it was 9 months before she wore it. First time she had it on, the zipper broke. I didn't have any tags but I took it back anyway. I figured the worst they could do was say no return and I'm in the same place as I am now. They took the coat back and gave me credit for it. I was very happy.

I charge everything there to the Kohl's charge so if I bring something back, they can look up the cost and I don't have to worry about receipts.

They have a very liberal return policy. They will most likely return / exchange the item, especially since it has broken.

I have usually had good experiences with Kohl's when it comes to returns. However, yesterday was a bit different. I bought my son some oxford cloth uniform shirts for school back in July. I saved the receipts. They were buy one get one half off. The receipt said return value was $18+. One of the shirts unraveled at the seam on the side after being washed 3 times. I took it back and looked for another shirt to exchange it, but they had none in his size. So I asked to return it for credit. The lady said the computer wanted to only give me $3 because I used Kohl's cash. So that would mean I would lose the full amount of my Kohl's cash. There should be some way to over ride this in the event that the merchandise is defective and they don't have a replacement. I ended up exchanging for a size smaller. I am planning to take that shirt to another kohls and see if they will exchange it for the right size, since I think he will outgrow it too quickly.

So while they will probably refund you some money, don't count on getting the full sale price if you used any Kohl's cash to pay for it.

I agree -sad - but have learned with Kohl's cash. I only use it on socks, T-shirts and underwear! Honestly - I was just there today with Kohl's cash and bought some t-shirts for my husband. I only buy with Kohls cash what I know I won't return.

Each store has its own rules. I had the Staples $10 promo certificates. It doesnt say anything about only one per day. Just say one per purchase. So I had 3 transactions. Manager wasnt going to let me until I told him state law say it has to say one per day. He ended up letting me. The other khols had no issue.
