I picked up the mouse book and the mouse stuffed animal for DGD3 last night for a Christmas gift.. She will love it!! I may go back and get the moose set for her also..

she really doesnt need another stuffed animal, but it was too cute to pass up and too cute since it matches the book! the stuffed animal was larger than I thought it would be..

Our store had these as well Sept 30...the stuffies are adorable! If you love the Jan Brett Gingerbread series, there are some cute stuffed Gingerbread ornaments with the tree decorations....not like kids need more stuffed animals, but that is another way to tie a toy w/a great book. There are some stuffed mini sock monkeys too that are just too darn cute!

Just read on another board that Laura Numeroff books & stuffed animals are the new Kohls for Cares $5 series. Perfect for holiday shopping! These books are normally around $16 in hardback.

According to Amazon ages 4-8, but my DD has loved them since she was 2! Our first was If You Give A Pig A Pancake (I swear it is the story of my life as a Mom) and she memorized each page from me reading it so much!

I agree, we started reading these to our kids around 2 and when they reach about 3 they'd start telling me what was the mouse would "want to go with it" on the next page.

I bought If You Give a Moose a Muffin and If You Give a Cat a Cupcake for my 5yo for Christmas this year, this is a great price for hardcovers! The stuffed animals were bigger than I expected and adorable, really a great buy at $5, but I've had to declare a moratorium on stuffed animal purchases in our house. It was hard, though, the moose and mouse were both cute as can be.

I am torn on getting the stuffed animal... DD is really into cats right now (and we need the newest Cat book), but I am drowning in webkinz and other stuffed animals right now!

I managed to pick up 3 out of the 4 books, but our store was completely cleared out of If You Give a Cat a Cupcake. I really hope they restock, they had loads of the other 3 titles and I'd love to complete the set.

My eight year old has loved those books since he was little. I bought a few sets of books and animals for gifts for friends who have smaller kids, he asked if he could have the mouse and has slept with it everynight for a week. Its just the cutest, softest thing ever!

I'm thinking of getting one for my 13 yr old!!!
She loved "If you give a mouse a cookie", it was fun to read too! I think 2 would be a good age for them.

I love the Kohl's books and I get them almost every time they come out with a new set. some of my favorites were the Dinosaur ones (How do Dinosaurs Get well Soon, etc). Unfortunately, we already have most of the books in this series, so I can only snag two this time! I might grab that cookbook for myself, too. I love Cookbooks!

I just bought them online for my nieces! My boys really enjoyed the series so I am very excited to be giving them as gifts, and it is a great deal!
